Take your bike on the train

Architecture by Bike

On Saturday, November 21, enjoy the unexpected on an easy, slow, laid-back tour of the quirky Humbolt-North Irving neighborhood of Portland. Along a four mile journey, the tour will visit a stone mansion, a Quonset hut house, a Swedish gastaus, a backyard yurt, a minareted temple, super-LEEDs, a converted church and co-op housing.

The ride promises to be “more fun than educational” but it certainly sounds like they’re packing a lot of interesting stops into the day.

The ride ends at County Cork for beer and pub food. This event is free and unsupported (other than having the informational ride leader). On rides like this, it is recommended you bring cash to make paying the bill easy at the finish line.

The tour meets at 1:00 outside Cup and Saucer on 3000 NE Killingsworth and will leave by 1:30. The ride will complete by 3:00.
