Celebrate the Bridge of the People on Sunday Parkways!

Once a month for five precious months of the year, the City of Portland opens a network of streets for Sunday Parkways, a celebration of outdoor activity and community connection that offers people a chance to explore the city without worrying about cars.

This month’s event on Sunday, September 27 features an all-new route in Sellwood to celebrate the opening of the new Tilikum Crossing, known as The Bridge of the People. Walk, roll, bike or stroll along an eight-mile car-free route packed with food vendors, music, a rock climbing wall and other festivities. The route is a loop, so you can jump in at any point.

This weekend marks the final Sunday Parkways of 2015, so don’t mass this one last chance to enjoy this awesome event.
