Ride the Heart of the Valley

April 29, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join us for a beautiful spring bike ride at the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine!  Ride the Heart of the Valley is an annual charity bike ride benefiting the Johnson Dental Clinic at the Corvallis Boys and Girls Club and the Olive K. Britt Endowment for Emergency Animal Care at OSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital.  Each year, the ride promotes AVMA’s One Health Challenge through community education during the ride, and this year’s theme is wildlife reservoirs of zoonotic diseases.  We offer three bike routes: 12 miles, 30 miles, and 62 miles, and a 5K dog jog/walk (please bring dogs on a leash!) with the start and finish located at the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine Horse Arena. Lunch provided after the ride.
