About Womens Cycling Group-Eugene

Description My partner and I are forming a Women’s Cycling Group. We are a slower, funkier, lower tech cycling group than the GEARS riders generally are.Our first ride was about 25 miles, with 5 riders. Our 25 mile ride took us about two and 1/2 hours. We take more breaks, are willing to wait for one another, and have older, heavier bikes than the hi-tech road bike riders have. Conversation is an important part of the experience. We aspire to many rides that have cafes at the end! We welcome riders with varied levels of experience. This is an informal group, with no designated leader, and no designated ride schedule.
