How do I know what group to be in?

Group A – Fast Pace. You ride for the workout! You are here to ride hard, face some challenging courses and increase your leg strength and lung capacity so you can ride harder, faster, and farther. Pace is 16-21mph for 25-40 mile rides.

Group B – Leisure/Moderate Pace. You are fairly new to cycling or you are recreational rider. Cycling is good exercise and you are here to pedal for pleasure and community. You’ll stick with the group for conversation and to learn better handling skills and build up your stamina. Pace is 11-15mph for 12-20 mile rides.

Still not sure? You can start in one group and determine if it’s too hard or too easy for you and then switch. What kind of rides do you like? Hard challenging rides that push you out of your comfort zone OR rides where you can enjoy a conversation with someone else while still getting in a good workout?
