Join Clay from the Vancouver Bike Club and friends for a leisurely group ride. Depending on the weather and the group, we may stop for coffee, may do a few more hills, or may go only 10 miles. Who knows? Come ride with Clay – it will be enjoyable. There is a lunch stop every third Tuesday of the month, with riders’ choice on where to go and what to eat.
A nice leisurely group ride. No fixed route, just follow the ride leader, as he makes it up as he goes along. Depending on the weather and the group, there may be a stop for coffee, or may do a few more hills, or may go only 10 miles. Who knows? It is always enjoyable.

Weekly Powell Butte ride - Weather Permitting – Helmets required
“Trails closed when muddy” | “Yeild to Horses and Hikers” | “Promote responsible MTB stewardship”
This ride happens weekly except when it conflicts with general meetings or weather. Rule of thumb, if it’s rained hard, within the last few days, or has rained consistently without a sun break before the scheduled ride. It’s cancelled. Please login and sign up if you plan to attend
This will be a somewhat unorganized ride, just meet up in the temprorary Powell Butte parking lot at the end of SE Holgate, just east of 136th street just before 6pm as we are pedalling out of the gate at 6.
We will climb up the Old Holgate Trail and from there go at our own pace throughout the trail system. I’ll do my best to provide some maps, but be aware that we likely will not all stick together, but instead split into various groups depending on the number and fitness level.
Ultimately, the intent is to go ride the Powell Butte Trails at your own pace, have some fun, get excercise, and make a presence of responsible mountain biking on ‘The Butte’.
Classes are Monday – Wednesday every week. $45
