Riders Give Rave Reviews

Over the years, we’ve heard so many great things about this ride from ORbike readers who have participated in Tour de Blast. The Longview Rotary organizes this ride with great care. But don’t just take our word for it, here is what some of the event’s participants have to say:

This is one of the most organized events of any kind I’ve ever done. There were a great number of friendly and helpful volunteers at the start, rest areas and at the end.
– Diana Chaytor, Vancouver BC

I ride a lot of well known events: the Triple Bypass, Ride the Rockies, Elephant Rock Ride, Copper Triangle, Santa Fe Century. Your event ranks right up there. The food was the best I’ve experienced.
– Mark A. Hanson, Colorado

“I am still in heaven about the ride. And I felt like I was in heaven at the top!”
– PJ and Mark Enbusk

“Wow! What a ride! This is my first year biking and this is the first time I’ve tackled anything this challenging. With sheer determination my boyfriend and I made it all the way up to Johnson Ridge! The support on the the ride was wonderful. I felt very safe riding the roads and bridges with the amount of volunteers constantly driving the roads to be sure everyone was OK. Especially liked the Espresso Cookie Bars! Great job guys! Now Bill and I can officially say ‘We biked Mount. St. Helens!'”
– Joanne LaFord and Bill McGinnis, Vancouver, WA

  1. It’s funny you say that as I have also heard really good things about this race and am thinking of doing it this year. I like that you listed what some other people say.

  2. This race is incredibly well supported – friendly Rotarian volunteers with several food stops (well stocked) along the route and a delicious pasta feed at the Finish.
