One of our favorite annual events is Tour de Lab, a benefit for DoveLewis, a non-profit emergency animal hospital. This event is the perfect way to get goofy after a summer of clocking serious miles.
A Multi-Pub Tour
No bananas and water at these rest stops – Tour de Lab visits the Lucky Labrador watering holes as rest stops along the way. The Puppy Dog course (19 flat miles) visits three, and the Big Dog Course (41 hilly miles) visits all four locations.
At the finish line, you’ll be treated to a gigantic hot dog feast and a complimentary beer served in an etched pint glass that you get to keep.
Get Dogged Up
Costumery and antics are par for the course on Tour de Lab, so don’t be shy and don your doggy best.
About the Routes
Both courses take you on an awesome urban tour of the region. If you’re looking for a challenge, sign up for the Big Dog route where you’ll climb Council Crest and visit the Multnomah Village Lucky Lab location for a bonus rest stop (or a bonus beer).
