Sure, you’ve seen the Tour de France on the TV, but have you ever witnessed racing up close and in person? So close that you feel the racers’ tailwind flutter your arm hairs?
What are you doing this Friday night?
Cirque du Cycling on Friday evening (August 9) offers front row viewing for some of the coolest racing in town. This is definitely where you want to be on Friday.
FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
The day kicks off with a Kids’ Zone, bike decorating and music followed by a short neighborhood ride. Plan to bring the kiddos and arrive early to make the most of it.
SHOP, BROWSE, DINE
Mississippi Avenue is filled with cool local shops, plenty of dinner options, food carts and more. Make a day of it and enjoy the creativity of Mississippi Avenue.
BEER GARDEN BUTTON HOOK
This year’s newly revised race course features a “button hook” turn at the top of the Mississippi hill. Racers will crank up the hill, make a thrillingly tight turn, then zoom back down. Prost! is hosting a beer garden smack dab at the pinnacle of the turn for the very best race viewing in the heart of the action.
