That first day you put on a sweater. The first day that you don’t wear shorts on a Saturday. The day you finally pull our your rain jacket. The day you think, “Maybe I don’t want to ride my bike to work today…”
These are the tell-tale signs that summer is coming to a close and fall will quickly be upon us.
But! Good news! That also means it’s nearly time for the Harvest Century (September 25), a beloved Oregon bike ride that signals an introspective time to give thanks to summer and send it on it’s way until next year.
This gorgeous ride winds through the quaint farmland on the fringes of Hillsboro. There are plenty of route options: 100, 75, 45 and a family ride, as always, and now, new this year, a 25 mile route. You can view all the routes here >
Winter, sminter! We’re not ready for that yet. It’s time to celebrate fall in all its glory with this incredible Oregon bike ride featuring to notch support and a festive finish line party.
A Great Cause!
The event supports Community Vision, a non-profit organization that provides supportive services that allow people with disabilities to lead the lives they dream of living. This incredible organization does really important work in humble quiet ways, and this ride is a fantastic way to pedal for a good cause.
