NE Ramble: 15 very flat miles (click for a PDF route map)
Take a ride on Portland’s Neighborhood Greenways, a network of low-traffic streets designed to be used by cyclists. You’ll soak in views from the Alameda Ridge, meander through quintessentially Portland neighborhoods and cruise along the waterfront.
An optional climb will take you on a short side trip of Rocky Butte, an extinct volcanic cinder cone, for incredible panoramic views of the city and outskirts. Rocky Butte features impressive WPA stonework at Joseph Hill State Park at the top.
