Early morning miles, aka the Northern Routes: starting from 7:00 am - 9:00 am

North: 30 - Mile Route

It is called a "Scenic Bikeway" for a reason. First, it's quite flat, Secondly, it's like you are riding through the largest produce aisle in the world. It is a patched network of farms, orchards and vineyards, Your first stop is at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course, where Tiger Woods won the US Amateur Championship to launch his career. It's just you, Oregon's bounty, and a multitude of barns.

The second half, aka The Southern Routes: starting from 9am - noon

South: 30 - Mile Route, aka The Blue Plate Special

This is a lovely little jaunt that zig zags along country roads through the countryside. Witness barns in their last stand against gravity as their shiny replacements rise in their shadows. You might want to bring some baby carrots to feed the donkeys, llamas, goats and mini horses. Enjoy a rest stop with fresh watermelon, apple pie, and iced mochas - yum!

South: 60 - Mile Route

This is a lovely little jaunt that zig zags along country roads through the countryside, past farms, fields and golf courses. Witness barns in their last stand against gravity as their shiny replacements rise in their shadows. Look for donkeys, goats, llamas and baby horses. You will make it as far south as Sherwood before you head UP into the wine country hills.

There is a long and sustained climb that earns you some of the best views around. And, since what goes up, must come down - you'll have a lovely, relaxed ride back to the finish, rolling past countless wineries and hazelnut farms.
